NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 26, 2014, the Department of Environmental Protection received a petition for variance or waiver from the Suarez Gaitan Law Group for Argus Tires Corporation, Miami, Florida. The Petitioner requests a waiver from paragraph 62-711.500(3)(a), F.A.C., which requires that owners and operators of waste tire sites provide financial assurance in the amount of the closing cost estimate for the facility. Any interested person or other agency may submit written comments on the petition within 14 days after publication of this notice.
