In accordance with subsection 120.74(5), F.S., the Department extends the April 1 deadline to publish the Notice of Proposed Rule for Chapter 62-610, F.A.C. An initial Notice of Rule Development was published in the Florida Administrative Register on June 9, 2023, Vol. 49/112, for Rules 62-610.200, 62-610.310, 62-610.330, 62-610.421, 62-610.463, 62-610.464, 62-610.466, 62-610.471, 62-610.472, 62-610.521, 62-610.525, 62-610.550, 62-610.553, 62-610.554, 62-610.555, 62-610.560, 62-610.562, 62-610.563, 62-610.564, 62-610.567, 62-610.568, 62-610.571, 62-610.573, 62-610.574, 62-610.621, 62-610.810, 62-610.860 and 62-610.870, F.A.C. The purpose of this rule development is to implement Chapter 2020-150, Laws of Florida. Additionally, based on the public comments and recommendations of the Potable Reuse Commission’s 2020 report, the Department is establishing the new Chapter 62-565, F.A.C., to address the permitting requirements of the Advanced Treatment Water Facility. An initial Notice of Rule Development for the new Chapter 62-565, F.A.C., was published in the Florida Administrative Register on Jan. 30, 2023, Vol. 49/19, and updated on June 9, 2023, Vol. 49/112. The Department is continuing rule development in order to obtain and consider public and industry comments.
