NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Building Commission has received the petition for declaratory statement from W.W. Schaefer Engineering & Consulting, P.A. The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Rule 61G20-3.009 as it applies to the petitioner.

Petitioner seeks clarification as to whether he is permitted to be a validator for product approval applications where he is an engineer of record for the product seeking approval if he has no financial interest in any of the parties involved.
