NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 4, 2015, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Fairfield Inn & Suites. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of NEC 2008 edition, Section 620.22, as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), F.A.C., that requires upgrading the elevators branch circuits for car lighting, receptacles(s), ventilation, heating, and air-conditioning which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
