Renovation Building #3, 1st and 4th floors, Winewood Complex
Proposals are requested from QUALIFIED BUILDING OR GENERAL CONTRACTORS by the State of Florida, Department of Children and Family Services, hereinafter referred to as OWNER, for the construction of:
PROJECT: Modifications and Renovations to the Offices of Economic Self-Sufficiency
SITE: Building 3, 1st and 4th Floor, Winewood Complex, 1317 Winewood Boulevard, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-0700
PREQUALIFICATION: Each prime Bidder shall be state-certified in accordance with Chapter 489, Florida Statutes, as a Building or General Contractor and attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bids from firms not able to furnish proof of the required certification are subject to disqualification.
SUMMARY OF WORK: All work to be performed in Building 3, 1st and 4th floor of Winewood Complex, 1317 Winewood Boulevard, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-0700. The Work includes selective demolition of sheetrock and 2” steel stud partitions and sheetrock, doors and steel door frames, relocation of existing light fixtures in existing suspension system, relocation of emergency lighting, relocation of HVAC diffusers, relocation of fire sprinkler heads. New construction shall be of new 3-5/8” steel stud partitions w/ ½” sheetrock, aluminum storefront track with tempered glazing, painting, new flush wood doors with glazed panels and new handicapped hardware. The total renovation is to take place within an area of 28,100 sq. ft. plus or minus and as shown on drawings.
PROPOSAL: Bids must be submitted in full in accordance with the requirements of the Drawings and the General and Technical Specifications, which may be examined and obtained from the ARCHITECT/ENGINEER:

Full sets of Drawings and Specifications may be obtained from the ARCHITECT/ENGINEER, by payment of printing and handling costs at the rate of $20.00 per bid set.
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING:
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. local time, 1317 Winewood Boulevard, Building 3, Conference Room #202, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-0700
