NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Florida Public Service Commission has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by the Town of Indian River Shores on January 5, 2016. The following is a summary of the agency’s disposition of the petition:
The agency issued a declaratory statement that the Florida Public Service Commission has the jurisdiction under Section 366.04, F.S., to determine whether the City of Vero Beach has the authority to continue to provide electric service within the corporate limits of the Town of Indian River Shores upon expiration of the franchise agreement between the Town of Indian River Shores and the City of Vero Beach.
Final Order No. PSC-16-0093-FOF-EU was issued and filed on March 4, 2016, in Docket No. 160013-EU.
