The State of Florida, Department of Military Affairs (DMA), Construction & Facility Management Office (CFMO) requests bids from State of Florida registered licensed General Building Contractors (GC) for the following project located at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center (CBJTC), Starke. FL.

PROJECT NAME/NUMBER: 120193 – Live Fire Shoot House

FUNDING: The State of Florida’s performance and obligation to pay under this contract is contingent upon availability of funding and an annual appropriation by the Legislature.

BID OPENING DATE: As stated on the Vendor Bid System (late bids will not be accepted).

MANDATORY PRE-BID/SITE VISIT DATE: March 16, 2012, 10:00 a.m. Check the Vendor Bid System for location.

STATEMENT OF WORK: This project is for the construction of a Live Fire Shoot House (LFSH) with required supporting Facilities for support of training requirements of the Army National Guard. This facility will be used to train and test individuals, teams, sections or squads on the skills necessary to conduct individual and collective tasks of building clearing and/or occupying. This facility is an Army National Guard Facility and is designated as a new construction project. LEED Silver Accreditation is also a requirement.

The Department reserves the right to either reject any and all submissions or accept minor irregularities in the best interest of the DMA.
