NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on March 8, 2017, the Board of Medicine issued a Final Order on the petition for declaratory statement filed on behalf of MGPAA FL CORP. The Notice of the Petition was published in Volume 42, No. 171, the September 1, 2016, issue of the Florida Administrative Register. The Board reviewed the Petition at its meeting held on November 4, 2016. The Board’s Final Order finds that to determine the effect of the recent deletion of Section 458.347(7)(b)1., F.S., on the foreign medical graduate physician assistants who were originally licensed under that provision would be a statement of broad general applicability and not appropriate for determination by declaratory statement. Further, there is no longer a statutory provision on which to opine. For these reasons the Board denied the Petition for Declaratory Statement.
