    The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, April 2, 2019, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

    PLACE: Emma Lou Olson Civic Center, located at 1801 NE 6th Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33060

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The project improvements consist of sidewalk and shared-use path construction and reconstruction, milling and resurfacing of existing pathways, driveway reconstruction, concrete curb, patterned pavement, pavers, signage and pavement markings in the City of Pompano Beach.

    Construction will begin in April 2019 and is estimated to be completed in Winter 2020. The estimated construction cost is $1.5 million.

    During the informal open house, attendees will have the opportunity to review roadway improvements, construction plans and traffic control plans. FDOT staff and consultant staff members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
