FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTICE
City of Haines City
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the City of Haines City project involving the construction of an anionic Ion Exchange Treatment System at their Water Treatment Plant No. 1 is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The total estimated construction cost is $6,173,086. The project may qualify for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan composed of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
