The Florida Public Service Commission announces a prehearing conference, customer service hearing, and a technical hearing in the following docket to which all persons are invited.

CUSTOMER SERVICE HEARING DATE AND TIME: Monday, May 8, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. The customer service hearing will end promptly at 11:30 a.m., or earlier, if all testimony is received prior to 11:30 a.m.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The purpose of the customer service hearing is to give customers and other interested persons an opportunity to offer additional comments regarding the quality of service the utility provides, the proposed rate increase, and to comment on other issues.
TECHNICAL HEARING DATE AND TIME: Monday, May 8, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. May 9-12, 2017 have also been reserved for continuation of the hearing, if needed. The starting time of the next day’s session will be announced at the conclusion of the prior day. The hearing may be adjourned early if all testimony is concluded.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED AT THE HEARING:
The purpose of this hearing shall be to receive testimony and exhibits from parties and to take final action relative to Utilities, Inc. of Florida’s application for an increase in water and wastewater rates, and to take action on any motions or other matters that may be pending at the time of the hearing. The Commission may rule on any such motions from the bench or may take the matters under advisement. This proceeding shall: (1) allow the parties to present evidence and testimony in support of their positions, and (2) allow for such other purposes as the Commission may deem appropriate.
