    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: FDOT will host a public hearing regarding the identification of sites for two new rest areas along Interstate 75 in Southwest Florida. The hearing will begin with an informal open house at 5:00 p.m., and the formal hearing will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center located at 75 Taylor Street in Punta Gorda, Florida.

    The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
