The Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel hereby gives notice: that on April 2, 2019, Orders were filed on the Petition for Variance or Waiver submitted by Ashley Nicole Barnett; Juan Camillo Corrales; Katherine Dovydaitis; Martin Gordillo; Allison LaGreca; and Emily Ann Tyson. The Petition for Variance or Waiver was filed on January 23, 2019, seeking a variance or waiver from Rule 64B3-5.003, F.A.C., which sets forth the education, training/experience and examination requirements for a specialty licensure as a medical technologist. The Notice was published in Volume 45 No. 17, of the Florida Administrative Register, on January 25, 2019. The Board, at its meeting held on March 8, 2019, via teleconference call, voted to grant the Petition for Variance or Waiver. The Board found that Petitioners met the purpose of the underlying statute and voted to approve the petition for waiver or variance. Based on the granting of the petitions for variance and waiver, the Board voted to approve the Petitioners’ applications for clinical laboratory technologist.
