    40E-6.221: Conditions for Issuance of Standard Permits

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on March 28, 2008, the South Florida Water Management District (District), received a petition for waiver from Collier County Board of County Commissioners, Application No. 07-0910-1, amending its previous peition for waiver submitted on November 27, 2007, for utilization of Works or Lands of the District known as the Cocohatchee Canal, Collier County, for the proposed installation of permanent and/or semi-permanent above-ground facilities within 40 feet of the top of the canal bank associated with the installation of bollards (posts) along a proposed 12' wide asphalt multi-use path to be located within the north right of way of the Cocohatchee Canal, Sections 23 and 24, Township 48 South, Range 26 East. The petition seeks relief from paragraph 40E-6.221(2)(a) and (i), Florida Administrative Code, which governs the placement of permanent and/or semi-permanent above-ground facilities within 40 feet of the top of the canal bank within Works or Lands of the District.
