The Board of Massage Therapy hereby gives notice: of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on January 4, 2019, by Hector Santana Vargas. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 45, No. 05, of the January 8, 2019, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver regarding an official transcript as proof of graduation. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on January 28 and 29, 2019, in Orlando, Florida. The Board’s Order, filed on March 14, 2019, denied the petition stating that the request submitted does not meet the requirements to be considered for variance or waiver of a rule.
