The Board of Massage Therapy hereby gives notice: of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on December 5, 2018, by Dawn Lipori. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 44, No. 239, of the December 11, 2018, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver of Chapter 480.041(b) and (c), F.S., regarding educational requirements as a massage therapist. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on January 28 and 29, 2019, in Orlando, Florida. The Board’s Order, filed on March 14, 2019, denied the petition stating that Petitioner’s request does not meet the requirements to be considered for variance or waiver of the rule.
