    RULE NO.:RULE TITLE:

    64B7-29.003Massage Apprenticeship Training Program

The Board of Massage Therapy hereby gives notice: of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on December 5, 2018, by Tyler Woodson. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 44, No. 238, of the December 12, 2018, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver of subsection 64B7-29.003(2), F.A.C., requesting that the period of time for completion of his apprentice program be extended to November 27, 2019. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on January 28 and 29, 2019, in Orlando, Florida. The Board’s Order, filed on March 15, 2019, granted the petition showing that the purpose of the underlying statute is being achieved by other means and that application of the above rule would cause a substantial hardship for or violate the principles of fairness. Petitioner apprenticeship is extended until November 27, 2019.
