PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FOR GORE HALL ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION
The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) requests proposals for GORE HALL ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION. The firm(s) selected under this contract will be required to, to modernize front opening hydraulic passenger elevators located at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind at Gore Hall and located at 207 N. San Marco Ave., St. Augustine, FL 32084, with a 2100 lb. capacity. All work will be performed to the requirements of the National Elevator Safety Code for Elevators (ANSI A17.1), National Electrical Code, and the American with Disabilities Act as adopted by the State of Florida. Selection will be made on the basis of qualifications in accordance with the posted specifications found in ITB-18-015 dated April 11, 2018. Firm(s) must be properly licensed in the State of Florida at the time of submittal. The selection will be made in accordance with the Selection Criteria and bid. RESPONDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE for checking the FSDB website for Amendments and addendum. Failure to comply with any changes published to the FSDB website may be grounds for rejecting a proposal.
