    DATE AND TIME: April 23, 2014, 5:00 p.m.7:00 p.m.: NEW DATE

PLACE: Collier County South Regional Library, 8065 Lely Cultural Parkway, Naples, FL 34113

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation is hosting a public hearing about safety improvements to the US 41 at Lely Resort Boulevard intersection.

The improvement includes modification of the full median opening to a dual directional opening. Currently all movements are allowed at the median opening. Drivers will continue to be able to make left turns from US 41. Temporary median modification anticipated in summer 2015, with final construction tentatively set for fall 2015.

The hearing will consist of an open house from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., allowing people time to view displays, ask questions, and discuss the work one-on-one with members of the project team. There will be a brief audio-visual presentation about the project at 6:00 p.m. followed by public comment period until closing.
