    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this rule amendment is to incorporate by reference the revised Florida Medicaid Federally Qualified Health Center Services Coverage and Limitations Handbook, March 2006. The revised handbook contains updated policies for the services that are provided by Federally Qualified Health Centers.     59G-4.100 Federally Qualified Health Center Services.

    (1) No change.

    (2) All federally qualified health center services providers enrolled in the Medicaid program must be in compliance with the Florida Medicaid Federally Qualified Health Center Services Coverage and Limitations Handbook, March 2006 October 2003, which is incorporated by reference, and the Florida Medicaid Provider Reimbursement Handbook, CMS-1500, which is incorporated by reference in Rule 59G-4.001, F.A.C.  Both handbooks are available from the Medicaid fiscal agent’s website at http://floridamedicaid.acs-inc.com agent.  Click on Provider Support, and then on Handbooks.  Paper copies of the handbooks may be obtained by calling Provider Inquiry at (800)377-8216.
