    NOTICE OF CHANGE

    Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 41 No. 21, February 2, 2015 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

    The changes to the proposed rules are being made in response to comments from the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee.

When a health care provider performs a procedure or service which is not listed in the Florida Workers’ Compensation Health Care Provider Reimbursement Manual, 2015 2008 Edition incorporated above, the provider must use a code contained in the CPT®-2014 2009, CDT-2014 2009/2010 or HCPCS-2014 2009 as specified in this section. The CPT® Assistant, Copyright American Medical Association, the 2014 ICD-9-CM Professional Edition for Physicians, Volumes 1 & 2, American Medical Association, Copyright 2013, and the 2014 ICD-10-CM: The Complete Official Draft Code Set, American Medical Association, Copyright 2013, OptumInsight, Inc., are also adopted by reference as part of this rule. A copy of these reference materials may be obtained from the American Medical Association’s website at https://commerce.ama-assn.org/store/. Acopy of the CDT refernce material may be obtained from the American Dental Association’s website at http://www.ada.org/en/publications/ada-catalog.
