The Board of Psychology hereby gives notice that on April 7, 2016, an Order was filed on the Petition for Waiver or Variance. The Petition for Waiver or Variance was filed by Lauren K. Mason, Ph.D., on February 5, 2016, seeking a waiver or variance from Rule 64B19-11.005, F.A.C., with regard to the requirements for supervised experience. The Notice was published in Volume 42, No. 31, of the Florida Administrative Register, on February 16, 2016. The Board, at its public meeting held on March 18, 2016, by telephone conference call, voted to deny the Petition for Waiver or Variance finding that the Petitioner did not demonstrate a substantial hardship; that application of the rule did not violate the principles of fairness; and that the purpose of the underlying statute was not met.
