40E-6.011Policy and Purpose

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 10, 2014, the South Florida Water Management District (“District”), received a petition for waiver from H. Robert Parris, III and Carol M. Parris, Application No. 14-0313-1, for utilization of Works or Lands of the District known as the Green Canal, for the proposed installation of a fence enclosure within Works and Lands of the District; Section 20, Range 49 South, Township 26 East, Collier County. The petition seeks relief from subsections 40E-6.011(4) and (6), Fla. Adm. Code, which governs the placement of above-ground permanent and/or semi-permanent encroachments within 40’ of the top of canal bank within Works or Lands of the District.
