    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Electrical Contractors’ Licensing Board has received the petition for declaratory statement from Joel McDaniel on behalf of RESA Power Service, filed on April 12, 2018.The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of subection 489.505(12), F.S., as it applies to the petitioner.

    Petitioner is seeking clarification as to whether performing in-field testing, calibration, repair, trouble shooting, initial commissioning, or routine maintenance of power system apparatus constitutes “contracting” or “electrical contracting “ and hence requires an electrical contracting license. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
