PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate by reference in rule the Florida Medicaid Home Health Services Coverage and Limitations Handbook, July 2008. The handbook was revised to allow independent providers to enroll to provide personal care services. (2) All home health agency providers enrolled in the Medicaid program must be in compliance with the Florida Medicaid Home Health Services Coverage and Limitations Handbook, July 2008 2007, incorporated by reference, and the Florida Medicaid Provider Reimbursement Handbook, CMS-1500, which is incorporated in Rule 59G-4.001, F.A.C. Both handbooks are available from the Medicaid fiscal agent’s Web Portal website at http://mymedicaid-florida.com. http://floridamedicaid.acs-inc.com. Click on Provider Support, and then on Handbooks. Paper copies of the handbooks may be obtained by calling the Medicaid fiscal agent at 1(800)289-7799 377-8216 and selecting Option 4.
