NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 13, 2017, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Flori de Leon at 130 4th Avenue N, St. Petersburg, FL. Petitioner seeks a variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, Section 8.7.2.15, as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), Florida Administrative Code that requires a 42” toeguard which poses a significant economic/financial hardship. Any interested person may file comments within 14 days of the publication of this notice with Michelle Comingore, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, 2601 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1013 (VW2017-062).
