The Florida Department of Transportation, District 2 announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME: April 26, 2016, 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

PLACE: Holiday Inn & Suites, 1302 N. Ponce De Leon Blvd., St. Augustine, FL 32084

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This hearing is being held to afford interested persons the opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, social, economic and environmental effects of Financial Project ID: 434556-1, otherwise known as May Street/San Marco Avenue/W. San Carlos Avenue/US 1 Intersection Improvements. The Department previously held two public meeting where alternatives were presented for public input. Since that time, the Department participated in several other public meetings hosted by the City of St. Augustine and selected a preferred alternative. After listening to the input from these meetings, the Department has refined the preferred alternative. This hearing is being held as part of the Design phase to provide you with an opportunity to review the refined alternative and receive your comments regarding the new design. As of April 5, 2016, project documents will be available for review at the St. Johns County Public Library, 1960 Ponce De Leon Blvd., St. Augustine, FL 32084. Persons wishing to submit a written statement may do so at the hearing or mail them to the address provided no later than May 6, 2016. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability or family status.
