State Plan Amendment

The Agency for Health Care Administration announces that it is requesting an amendment to the Medicaid State Plan for the Medical School Faculty Reimbursement Methodology. The amendment reflects creation of a reimbursement methodology for services rendered by practitioners as defined under the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), who are enrolled in Florida Medicaid, and employed by or contracted with a Florida public or private, non-profit, accredited medical, dental, or optometry school to provide supervision and teaching of medical, dental, or optometric students, residents, or fellows.  This amendment to the State Plan has an expected negligible fiscal impact. The effective date for this amendment will be July 1, 2016.
