  • The Florida Department of Transportation, District Five announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.
    DATE AND TIME: April 29, 2010, Project Information Session, 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Following the Project Information Session a formal Public Hearing (Project Presentation & Public Testimony Period) 6:00 p.m.
    PLACE: Volusia County MPO, Indigo Professional Centre, 2570 W. International Speedway Blvd. Suite 120, Daytona Beach, FL 32114
    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This hearing is being held to allow interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, social, economic, and environmental effects of State Project Number: 422627-1-22-01, otherwise known as State Road (SR) 600 (US 92) Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study. The project study covers an area between the Interstate 4 Ramps and Tomoka Farms Road in Volusia County, a distance of approximately 2.3 miles. The project is a proposed widening from four to six lanes with sidewalks.
