    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 9, 2015, the Construction Industry Licensing Board has received the petition for declaratory statement from Ramon A. Valeiro. The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Chapters 455 and 489, Florida Statutes, and Title 61G4, Florida Administrative Code, as it applies to the petitioner.

    The petitioner seeks a declaratory statement regarding Chapters 455 and 489, Florida Statutes, and Title 61G4, Florida Administrative Code, as to whether he will need a contractor's license to perform the following functions: Management of subcontractors, minimizing clients' total material costs, ensuring the correct quantity and quality of materials, materials requirements planning, selecting suppliers, purchasing materials in alignment with project schedule and budget, hiring subcontractors, arranging and controlling transportation and delivery of materials to the projects, and managing the materials on the site (receiving, inspecting, storing and controlling the release of incoming materials). Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
