The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, will hold an alternatives public workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME: Thursday, April 27, 2017, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to attend an alternatives public workshop for proposed improvements over the CSX Railroad along Kentucky Avenue and New York Avenue in Lakeland, Polk County. Financial Project ID(s) 436653-1-22-01 (Kentucky Avenue) and 436656-1-22-01 (New York Avenue).

The proposed improvements include bridges over CSX Railroad at Kentucky Avenue and New York Avenue to allow pedestrians and/or bicyclists to cross over the railroad. The purpose of the workshop is to obtain comments on the alternatives being considered.

The workshop will be an open house format with department representatives available during the workshop to discuss the project and answer questions. FDOT encourages attendees to come to this workshop at any time between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to review the proposed transportation improvement.
