    The Siting Coordination Office announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: May 13, 2014, 9:00 a.m.

    PLACE: Florida State Capitol Building, 400 South Monroe Street, Lower Level, Cabinet Hearing Room, Tallahassee, Florida

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: DEP announces a public hearing of the Governor and Cabinet, sitting as the Electrical Power Plant Siting Board (Siting Board), to consider and act upon the Administrative Law Judge’s Recommended Order concerning the proposed certification of the Florida Power & Light Company Turkey Point Units 6 & 7 Project, Site Certification Application No. PA03-45A3, DOAH Case No. 09-3575EPP, and DEP Office of General Counsel Case Number 09-3107, pursuant to the Florida Electrical Power Plant Siting Act, Sections 403.501-403.518, Florida Statutes. The Cabinet Aides will meet on May 7, 2014 at 9:00 a.m., in the same location to review and gather information regarding this item for consideration by the Siting Board.

    Pursuant to Section 403.509, Florida Statutes, the issues that may be raised before the Siting Board shall be limited to those matters raised in the certification proceeding before the administrative law judge or in the recommended order.
