NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Department of Financial Services, Division of State Fire Marshal (Department), has received the petition for declaratory statement from Core Construction Services of Florida, LLC on April 6, 2017. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of whether the Type Construction requirements of the Florida Building Code apply and prevail over the Type Construction provisions of the occupancy chapters of the Florida Fire Prevention Code, 5th Edition (2014), as it applies to the petitioner.
