NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 10, 2020, the Division of Funeral, Cemetery, and Consumer Services, received a petition for waiver of certain requirements of Rule 69K-18.003, F.A.C. The petition was filed on behalf of Albert McWhite II, who had previously been issued a funeral director and embalmer internship license in 2007. The license is valid for one year. Mr. McWhite failed to complete the internship, and is seeking a waiver of Rule 69K-18.003, F.A.C., which provides that only one internship per person is allowed. This matter will be heard during the May 7, 2020, meeting of the Board of Funeral, Cemetery, and Consumers Services. This meeting will take place via teleconference.
