    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 20, 2015, the Office of Financial Regulation received the petition for declaratory statement from Convenient Payday Lending, LLC (“CPL”).The petition seeks the agencys opinion as to the applicability of Chapter 560, Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

    CPL seeks a declaratory statement from the Office on whether a Professional Employer Organization is permitted (under Chapter 560, Florida Statutes), to pay outstanding balances (owed by an employee on a deferred presentment loan made by CPL) directly to CPL.
