    The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

    DATES AND TIMES: Monday, May 18, 2020, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET; Tuesday, May 19, 2020, 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. ET

    PLACE: This is the first of two workshops that will be broadcast via webinars. All webinars will have the same presentation.     GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Commission will present draft revisions to the Gopher Tortoise Permitting Guidelines. These guidelines provide a comprehensive overview of FWC’s gopher tortoise permitting system, which was developed as one tool to in accomplishing the goals and objectives set forth in FWC’s Gopher Tortoise Management Plan that was approved in September 2012. The meeting will provide the public an opportunity to offer feedback and suggestions on the proposed guidelines revisions. Comments can also be sent after the webinars to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6RWQ5RD.
