PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Review and refinement of the regional goals and policies within the Council’s Strategic Regional Policy Plan (2060 Plan) which are intended to assist local decision making on planning, development and growth issues in Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia Counties in a manner that encourages implementation of the Central Florida Regional Vision adopted by representatives of all 93 communities that participated in an eighteen month regional visioning process involving approximately 20,000 citizens.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: SUMMARY: Amendment of the East Central Florida Strategic Regional Policy Plan required by Section 186.507, Florida Statutes.
SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COSTS AND LEGISLATIVE RATIFICATION:
The Agency has determined that this will not have an adverse impact on small business or likely increase directly or indirectly regulatory costs in excess of $200,000 in the aggregate within one year after the implementation of the rule. A SERC has not been prepared by the agency.
The Agency has determined that the proposed rule is not expected to require legislative ratification based on the statement of estimated regulatory costs or if no SERC is required, the information expressly relied upon and described herein: upon review of the proposed changes to this rule the Council has determined that the amendments will not result in any adverse economic impact or regulatory cost increases, or exceed any one of the economic analysis criteria in a SERC as set forth in Section 120.541 (2)(a), F.S.
Any person who wishes to provide information regarding a statement of estimated regulatory costs, or provide a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative must do so in writing within 21 days of this notice.
