    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this rulemaking is to consolidate and streamline local regulations related to shrimp into Chapter 68B-31, F.A.C., so they are easier for the public to find and understand. The Commission will consider rule amendments that would move local shrimp regulations applicable to portions of Volusia and Okaloosa counties and consolidate these regulations into Florida’s shrimp regulations in Chapter 68B-31, F.A.C.

    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: The subject area addressed in the rule development notice is local restrictions on the harvest of shrimp applicable to portions of Volusia and Okaloosa counties.
