    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation, District One, is holding a public meeting to present the reconstruction plans of the existing SR 45 (US 41/Tamiami Trail) at the intersection of Piney Point Road and Dock Street.

    The public meeting is held to give interested people the opportunity to view the proposed design. FDOT’s project entails the reconstruction of the existing SR 45 (US 41/Tamiami Trail) four lane rural roadway at the intersections of US 41/Piney Point Road and US 41/Dock Street with rigid concrete pavement. This project also includes minor drainage improvements, the replacement of an existing box culvert, adding roadway lighting and modifying the existing landscaping at the US 41/Piney Point intersection. No additional right-of-way will be acquired.
