PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR CONTINUING CONTRACTS

Advertisement Number: ITQ-4-18-14-2

The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) requests qualifications from construction management firm(s) to provide construction management services for continuing contracts. The firm(s) selected under this contract will be responsible for assigned facility projects in which estimated construction costs of each individual project under the contract does not exceed $2,000,000 and individual study which does not exceed $200,000. This contract will have an initial period of two (2) years with Owner’s option to renew for two (2) additional two-year periods.

Selection of finalists for interview will be made on the basis of construction manager qualifications in accordance with “Selection of the Construction Management Firm”, packet dated September 2013. Firms must be properly licensed in the State of Florida at the time of submittal. The selection will be made in accordance with Section 255.103 and Section 287.055, Florida Statutes.

INSTRUCTIONS: Firms interested in being considered for this project should contact FSDB by email at the following address: [e-mail]. Request the instruction packet, “Selection of the Construction Management Firm Negotiated Fee Guaranteed Maximum Price packet dated September 2013”.

Submittals must be received no later than 3:00 p.m., Eastern Daylight Savings Time, on May 20, 2014, and should be mailed to the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, Attention: Purchasing Dept. Contract Administrator, 207 North San Marco Avenue, Saint Augustine, Florida 32084. Facsimile or emailed submittals are not acceptable and will not be considered.

A final selection will be made after interviews have taken place. The selected firm(s) will be given official notice of selection results by email. Final selection results will also be posted in the Florida Administrative Register. Selection date is to be determined.
