NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Office of Financial Regulation has received a Petition for Declaratory Statement from Gulfview Holdings, LLC, on April 22, 2015. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Chapter 494, Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

The petition seeks a declaratory statement from the Office on whether Petitioner’s proposed business model of providing loans from their own funds for investment purposes is exempted from the Florida Mortgage Lending Laws, Chapter 494, Florida Statutes.
