BABCOCK RANCH COMMUNITY INDEPENDENT SPECIAL DISTRICT
NOTICE OF RULE DEVELOPMENT AND THE SETTING OF FEES BY BABCOCK RANCH COMMUNITY INDEPENDENT SPECIAL DISTRICT
In accordance wit Chapter 2007-306, Laws of Florida, as amended, the Babcock Ranch Community Independent Special District (“District”) hereby gives notice of its intention to develop rules 1) setting fees and charges related to the use of the District’s amenity facilities and services; 2) addressing the requirements for the suspension and termination from use of the District’s amenity facilities; 3) setting fees related to line and grade review within the District; and 4) setting fees related to waste collection and recycling services. The purpose and effect of the proposed rules is to provide services related to the District’s amenity facilities and waste collection services, and review of certain construction within boundaries of the District.
A public hearing will be conducted by the District on May 24, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at 14740 State Road 31, Punta Gorda, Florida 33982. Specific legal authority for the rule includes Chapter 2007-306, Laws of Florida, as amended, and 120.054, Florida Statues.
