    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Financial Management Number: 437959-1-52-01.

    The improvements include strengthening the steel and concrete beams of the bridge on SR 29/Bridge Street over the Caloosahatchee River in LaBelle, Florida. Currently, overweight commercial vehicles are not permitted to use the bridge and must go to the Mamie Langdale Memorial Bridge in Moore Haven to find an alternate crossing.

    Construction operations will require intermittent periods of lane closures and full closures, which will limit or prohibit all vehicles on the bridge. Construction is tentatively scheduled to start in Spring 2018 with completion by late 2018.
