    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Orthotists and Prosthetists has received the petition for declaratory statement from Kim Wonsick, J & B Medical, Inc. on April 14, 2017. The petition seeks the agencys opinion as to the applicability of 468 F.S., as it applies to the petitioner.

    The Petitioner seeks a Declaratory Statement from the Board as to the following: (1) whether a license from the Board is required to sell prefabricated compression garments, manufactured in various shoe sizes, as an over-the-counter product where no fitting is required; and (2) Is a Nurse (RN or LPN) exempt from additional licensing to fit prefabricated compression garments where fitting is required if he/she is trained in the proper fitting of compression garments? Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after the publication of this notice.
