40E-6.011Policy and Purpose

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 22, 2016, the South Florida Water Management District (District), received a petition for waiver from Miami-Dade County Public Works Department, Application No. 16-0401-6 for utilization of Works or Lands of the District known as the C-8 Canal to allow for a portion of an asphalt emergency access service road to remain within the District’s southerly right of way of C-8 Canal beginning at NW 37th Avenue westerly approximately 1700 feet; Section 17, Township 52S, Range 41E, Miami-Dade County. The petition seeks relief from subsections 40E-6.011(4) and (6), and paragraph 40E-6.221(3)(j), Florida Administrative Code, which governs the placement of roadways within Works and Lands of the District.
