    Project Description: State Road (SR) 19/Howey Bridge Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study

    This meeting is being held to share the results of the alternatives analysis regarding the proposed improvements to SR 19 and to allow area residents, business owners, travelers, other interested parties and stakeholders an opportunity to provide feedback. It is also an opportunity to work with the project team to identify issues, areas of concern, and comments about the alternatives for the future of this corridor. The project extends from County Road (CR) 48 to CR 561, and includes the Howey Bridge over Little Lake Harris, for a distance of 4.76 miles. The proposed improvements involve widening the existing facilities from two to four lanes. Project information can be found at the project specific website: www.sr19howey bridge.com.
