NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Office of Financial Regulation has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Angel Oak Prime Bridge, LLC on March 3, 2016. The following is a summary of the agency’s disposition of the petition:

The petition seeks a declaratory statement from the Office on whether the loan transactions (described in the Petition) are not mortgage loans, defined by Chapter 494, Florida Statutes, and that Petitioner is not required to obtain a license from OFR before offering or making such loans in the State of Florida. April 26, 2016 – Final Order issued. The loans described by Petitioner, are not mortgage loans, as defined by section 494.001(24), Florida Statutes. Petitioner is not required to obtain a license from the OFR before offering or making such loans in the State of Florida.
