60CC-4.002Ratification by Members of Bargaining Unit

The Public Employees Relations Commission hereby gives notice: On April 23, 2020, the Public Employees Relations Commission issued a final order in Case No. MS-2020-005 granting an unopposed emergency petition for variance from Florida Administrative Code Rule 60CC-4.002 filed by Ann Fisher and United Faculty of Florida. The variance allows the Petitioners to conduct all aspects of a ratification election at New College electronically through May 29, 2020. The Public Employees Relations Commission determined that the Petitioners had demonstrated an emergency existed and that they would suffer a substantial hardship if the variance was not granted. The Commission denied the request that the variance be extended to all chapters of the United Faculty of Florida. The petition was filed on April 7, 2020, and the notice of receipt of the petition was published on April 9, 2020, on the Commission’s website and in Volume 46, Number 70 F.A.R. No comments were received to the petition.
