NOTICE OF CHANGE

Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 42 No. 63, March 31, 2016 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

Policies and Procedures Specifications for the Florida Instructional Material Adoption, Page 4 is amended as follows:

Reviewer Evaluations Form IMEI-01 After their evaluation is complete, the state instructional materials reviewers will make a recommendation of whether or not to adopt the instructional materials have reviewed the submitted materials, they will complete the electronic evaluation, which includes opportunities for reviewer comments. When the evaluation is complete, the reviewer will make a recommendation of whether or not to adopt the instructional materials. Materials which have been recommended by the state instructional materials reviewers will then be made available for electronic review by the district reviewers. The district reviewers shall independently rate the recommended submissions on the instructional usability of the resources and provide an electronic evaluation to the FDOEIM office. The Commissioner of Education shall review the evaluations of the state instructional materials reviewers and district reviewers, consider the costs of the materials and then approve, reject or amend the list of materials.
