    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Hearings on the Life Insurance Industry’s Policies, Practices and Procedures regarding (1) Use of the Social Security Administration’s Death Master File, (2) Claim Settlement Practices, and (3) Compliance with Florida’s Unclaimed Property Laws.
    Florida law allows the Office of Insurance Regulation to hold a public hearing for any purpose within the scope of the Insurance Code deemed to be necessary. Input from the insurers as well as interested parties will be received at this public hearing.
